Cabinet from an Officer of the Imperial K&K Army, Austria circa 1880

Magnificent Cabinet from an Officer of the imperial K&K army of emperor Franz Joseph I. around 1880. An absolute unique masterpiece with a small two-door cabinet with drawer at the top, attached on a small desk, which impresses with twisted hand carved columns, beautiful designed side parts and outstanding poker works. The floral pyrography also runs over all other parts of this breathtaking aristocratical piece. This matchless cabinet is highlighted by two remarkable handpainted coat of arms which are additionally framed by colored carvings, a proof of evidence that this item originates from the imperial court. Other beautiful carvings were added around the lower edges. The top work made of solid nut wood, reminds of  battlements from a knight´s castle. This exceptional imperial cabinet shows a partly waxed/ shellac surface and is in outstanding 99% original condition - only a few parts of broken carvings had to be complemented.
