Biedermeier Chest Of Drawers
This beautiful chest of drawers from Southern Germany dates from the Biedermeier period, from around 1825. It is a high quality piece of furniture with carefully processed surfaces, and veneered with walnut and coated in shellac hand-polish. The three drawers have key blades made of ebony, and the top panel is slightly waved by means of a special veneering technique and is fluted in the front. This chest of drawers has quite a massive and compact shape, and it stands out due to its beautifully arranged veneer patterns.
